HOW DO I GET HELP WITH MY SERVICE ACCOUNT?

WHY DO NOT YOU LET ME ACCESS?
Once enrolled in the service you will receive the access credentials. If you cannot access, check if you are entering the correct username and password. If these are, it can be due to two reasons:
- Your account has not been activated yet. Contact your service provider and ask them to activate their user.
- You have forgotten your password. If this happens, please click on the link “Forgot your password?” On the platform access screen and follow the steps indicated.
WHY DOES THE SOLUTION CLOSE THE SESSION SOMETIMES?
If you do not select the “access automatically” when accessing, the service only keeps you active for a limited period of time. This security feature of the program is to prevent the inappropriate use of your account by an unauthorized user. To stay active, select the appropriate box. However, this is not recommended if you access the service from a shared computer.
I FORGOT MY PASSWORD! WHAT SHOULD I DO?

DO I NEED HIGH-SPEED INTERNET?
When our system sends you data it only does so when it is necessary. Thanks to this even with normal connections the tool will work fluidly.
HOW FAST CAN I EXPECT TO INSTALL?
Speed may vary due to different factors outside the service, including the wireless signal strength of your device, Internet traffic, etc. From our company we always try to ensure the highest possible quality of service, so we work with high quality service providers.
WHAT HAPPENS IF THE INTERNET STOPS WORKING? OR DO I HAVE CONNECTIVITY PROBLEMS?
If you lose your internet connection, the data will be stored in the internal memory of the Gateway while you are offline. When the connection is restored, all stored data will be sent to the cloud to avoid data loss.
WHAT COULD BE THE MAXIMUM DISTANCE BETWEEN THE GATEWAY AND THE SENSORS?
The devices maintain the connectivity up to 30 meters (100 feet) in a straight line and without obstacles.
WHAT HAPPENS IF THE ELECTRICITY STOPS WORKING?
You will not be able to control your devices until the power returns, if you wish you can connect a portable battery and your installation will continue to work in local mode (only with battery powered sensors).
IF I MOVE, WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO MY INSTALLATION?
You can install the Gateway and all devices in the new home or office and maintain the same installation that you have configured on the platform. Please remember that the sensors must be within the range of the Gateway.
IS MY WIRELESS CAMERA SECURE? AND THE PRIVACY OF THE SYSTEM?
Yes, the system is based on a secure platform hosted in the cloud and data are made anonymous and for peace of mind are sent through an encrypted channel.
WHY Z-WAVE INSTEAD OF ZIGBEE?
ZigBee is a fragmented standard and that is why most of the devices available in the market use Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or Z-Wave.
HOW DOES Z-WAVE WORK?
Z-Wave is a wireless technology that allows smart devices to “talk” to each other. Home appliances such as lights, door locks and thermostats become “smart” when adding Z-Wave connectivity; we allow them to communicate and carry out the function we want. Z-Wave works wirelessly and safely.
CAN Z-WAVE INTERFERE WITH MY WI-FI CONNECTION?
Z-Wave will not interfere with your Wi-Fi network. Z-Wave because it works on a different frequency.
WILL Z-WAVE WORK IN A LARGE HOUSE?
Yes, because Z-Wave runs on the type of network called a “mesh network.” A Z-Wave device will pass the received signal to another “jumping” until the final destination is reached. Most current-connected devices act as repeaters. Batteries do not have this capability.
IS Z-WAVE SAFE?
Yes, a Z-Wave network has a unique identifier that is assigned to each device, and each ID is different so that the actions performed by your neighbor on your ZWAVE network will not affect yours. When you need an additional level of security, such as door locks and other high-security devices, Z-Wave has another level of security that uses AES128 encryption, at the same level as large banks use to protect financial information. The AES Z-Wave Encryption is supported by most Z-Wave devices today, in particular it is required on all Z-Wave Plus devices on them.
HOW CAN I CHANGE MY PREFERENCES?
It’s simple! When you have accessed your account, go to “Hello, user” in the upper right corner and click “Settings”. Here you can change your preferences:
- Account: Password
- Location: select the language and the unit in which the temperature is displayed (Celsius or Fahrenheit).
- Notifications: The platform will alert the user when someone sets the thermostat in their home, if a device is switched on or off, if an alarm is triggered and when the power consumption increases more than expected. Enter a valid email if you want to receive these notifications and an active phone number if you want to receive them through Push notifications through the service app or SMS (this service may not be available in your area. Service provider for more information may incur additional charges).
- Default installation: Choose the installation you want to see by default each time you access the platform.
THE TIME IS NOT RIGHT! WHAT SHOULD I DO?
It’s simple! When you have accessed your account, go to “Hello, user” in the upper right corner and click on “Settings”, then go to “Time Zone” and verify that it corresponds to the region where your installation (home or office) it’s found.
Contact your service provider if you need more information.
MY LANGUAGE IS NOT DISPLAYED IN THE "LOCATION" SETTINGS AREA.

WHAT IS THE "GATEWAY"?
The Gateway, Controller or Gateway is a communication device that allows interaction between the device network and the Internet.
WHY IS THE FOOTBRIDGE NECESSARY? CANNOT DEVICES CONNECT DIRECTLY TO THE INTERNET?
Z-Wave devices work on a different frequency than a typical home wireless network, the Gateway also allows the Internet to go out.
WHAT DO THE ENTRANCE LIGHTS INDICATE?

Yes, you can put the names that suits you, for example: living room, kitchen, toilet, main room, small room, etc.

There are several types of sensors, some are connected to the mains, others must be recharged via USB and others need to be replaced when necessary.
HOW OFTEN SHOULD I CHANGE THE BATTERIES?
Each device works differently, but also the platform will inform you about the battery levels of each device.
WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS TO INSTALL THE SERVICE?
The Gateway needs access to the internet. Make sure your Gateway is connected to your router. If you need help, please contact your service provider.
HOW DO I SET UP MY IP CAMERA?
Connect it to the router. Both WiFi and Ethernet connections are allowed. The router will assign an IP address to the camera. Go to the “Administration” – “Add Devices” – “Cameras” “Manual Mode” area and enter the IP address of the camera. You can now continue configuring your device.
IS IT NECESSARY FOR A PROFESSIONAL TO INSTALL THE SERVICE?
Most users can install and prepare their system in about 30 minutes, depending on the number of devices they want to install. However, if you need help, you can request that we send you a professional installer to your home or office.

HOW CAN I CONTROL MY NEW DEVICE WITH THE PLATFORM?
Once you have configured your account and added devices to your installation go to the main page of the solution and access the area associated with the device, for example Control for lights and plugs or Comfort for thermostats.
If you want to create on and off routines, go to the “Planner” area in the same section.

HOW CAN I CHECK THE STATUS OF MY DEVICES?

WHERE DO THE EXTERIOR TEMPERATURE AND FORECAST VALUES COME FROM?
These data are extracted from external service providers. During the configuration of the service, your city is selected from the list of available cities and those values are displayed. If your city does not appear in the list, choose the nearest city.
IS THE SOLUTION A PRIVATE SECURITY SERVICE?
No. This is a Do-It-Yourself service that makes it easy and affordable to control your home or office from wherever you are. But it does not notify the authorities if an alarm is triggered.
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE PLATFORM DETECTS AN INTRUSION? IS THE POLICE NOTIFIED?
No, the solution does not notify the authorities when an intrusion is detected. When an alarm is activated, the platform sends an email, Push notification, and captures a photograph of its IP camera that can be viewed from the user interface (web or app). You can click on the image to see a video in real time. If this is an intrusion, contact the security force for assistance.
WILL THE SOLUTION WORK WITH MY OLD SECURITY SYSTEM?
If your current security system is based on IP or the Z-Wave protocol it is possible to connect them to your new automation service. Please contact your service provider for more details.
WHEN SECURITY IS SET TO PARTIAL ARMING MY SENSORS DO NOT TRIGGER THE ALARM. WHERE CAN I CONFIGURE A SENSOR TO BE ACTIVATED IN THE PARTIAL ARMING MODE?
Please remember that all safety devices do not work in the same way. There are two types of security sensors: intrusion sensors (movement, doors / windows) and security sensors (smoke, flood, fire, gas). The first ones send alarms depending on the type of status to which they are configured (armed, disarmed or partially armed)… The security sensors are configured by default to send alarms even when the system is disarmed.
Armed: Use is assumed for when no one is at home, so all sensors will send a notification if something happens. Partial Armed is planned to be used while inside the home, for example, at night.
Access the configuration of each security sensor to assign the level of arming to which an alarm has to be sent.
WHEN AN INCIDENT IS DETECTED, DOES THE PLATFORM CAPTURE IMAGES (PHOTO AND VIDEO) AUTOMATICALLY?
Yes, the platform will do it by default, if you require a different configuration you can create it in the rules engine. Access the settings of each sensor to change the camera assignment.

CAN THE SOLUTION FORECAST CONSUMPTION?
Yes, the tool predicts consumption based on the historical stored, the more historical it is stored, the better the forecast ……. It is necessary to have installed a device that captures the consumption of the home.
DO YOU HAVE CONCISE NUMBERS REGARDING ENERGY SAVINGS, ROI?
Yes, the savings can be 15% to 20% depending on the items you have in your home or office (luminaires, appliances, air conditioning system, etc.). DO YOU MEASURE THE CONSUMPTION OF ALL HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCES?
It only measures the consumption of those devices that are being monitored by a sensor. Each zone must have different sensors installed to control consumption and/or be connected to your service provider.
WHAT CAN THE SOLUTION MEASURE?
The system is programmed to monitor the consumption of water, gas, electricity (lights, appliances, appliances, air conditioning, etc.)
THE CONSUMPTION PANEL SHOWS A LARGE INCREASE COMPARED TO LAST WEEK, WHY?

WHAT DOES THE% ASSOCIATED WITH CONSUMPTION LEVELS MEAN?
The number framed in the circle (day / week / month) represents the percentage saved or consumed in function of the previous period. When the circle is red it means that it is consuming more, when it is visible indicates that the consumption has been reduced.
IS THERE A SOLUTION APP FOR MY SMARTPHONE?
The solution is available for the main operating systems: (iOS and Android). Please contact your service provider to get your app.

I'VE DOWNLOADED THE ANDROID/IPHONE APP, BUT WHEN I TRY TO INSTALL IT NOTIFIES ME OF AN ERROR.
This may be because your Smartphone does not meet the requirements (operating system version, available memory, etc.) for the platform to work. Please check that your Smartphone meets these requirements.
DOES THE SMARTPHONE APP INCLUDE ALL THE FUNCTIONALITY OF THE PLATFORM?
No. To create the best mobile experience possible, the tool app offers the features of consumption control, remote security and automation. However, administrative and reporting functions are only offered through the web browser.
WHY DOES A MESSAGE APPEAR SAYING THAT MY PLANNER HAS NOT COMPLETED AN ACTION?
There are two possible causes for this:
- That the Gateway is not connected to the Internet
- The device or sensor is disconnected
The Scheduler works locally on your Gateway but if it is not connected to the network, it will not notify the changes and its behavior may be incorrect. In this case, you will receive a message notifying that error. The second case can occur if you have changed the location of the devices and are not able to connect to the Gateway or because the batteries are depleted or not connected to the mains.
WHAT SHOULD I DO IF A "PLANNER HAS NOT COMPLETED AN ACTION" MESSAGE APPEARS?
You can check if the Gateway is connected to the network by checking the status of your devices. If you do not get status information, check if it is securely connected to the mains or if the network cable is disconnected the Wi-Fi connection fails.
In the second case, connect the device, replace the batteries or connect it to the mains.
